Anita’s Salt Cave Business: From Pharma Analyst to Wellness Entrepreneur

Anita spent many years working as a pharmaceutical industry analyst. But she felt drawn back to her roots in health and wellness, with a special interest in salt caves. She was intrigued by the numerous health benefits that salt caves provide, and she knew that salt therapy would be the perfect complement to the yoga, reflexology, and reiki services she already offered.

Anita spent many late nights researching and working hard to get her salt cave business started. She needed funding, so she reached out to various banks. One of the banks she contacted was the KUSBDC, a small business development center. The KUSBDC helped Anita to structure a strong business and financial plan that would attract more lenders.

With the support of the KUSBDC, Anita was approved for a loan from The 504 Company, with backing from the Small Business Administration (SBA). This loan helped Anita to open her salt cave business, which is now thriving. Himalayan Salt and Wellness Cave is proud to be Women-owned and operated!
